"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break." -- An ancient Chinese belief

"While I slept, my heart kept vigil."

"Today I kissed an angel, I knew it from the start; The first time our eyes met, I gave away my heart.

Today I kissed an angel, This angel child of mine; Though not of my creation, My child by God's design.

Today I kissed an angel, My heart is dancing wild; A family by a miracle, Blessed by this angel child."

Mommy is playing catch-up...again

Where does the time go? March has flown by so quickly and Mommy finds herself in catch-up mode, again. Mommy hopes one day that she'll be on top of her entries and post current events as they happen.

We're busy preparing a birthday party for a very special little girl who is turning 2 next month. Charlotte's vocabulary list is growing and she now tries to put 2 words together. It's so cute to hear her say "please" as she scrunches up her little face and when she runs all the words together to say "here it is."

Please see entries for the following dates:
November 2: Charlotte wishes one of her China sisters a Happy First Birthday
November 3: Charlotte gets her first guitar lesson from Uncle Donny
November 4: Charlotte is liberal with her kisses today
November 5: Charlotte enjoys a visit with her Chinese sister Ella Rose
November 6: Mommy enjoys the closeness shared with Charlotte while reading
November 7: Charlotte was a perfect angel at church
